About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team on a permanent work-from-home basis. In this role, you will manage end-to-end payroll for a new Irish client, ensuring full compliance with UK and Irish payroll regulations. You will work closely with senior leadership, HR, and Finance teams while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote setup.

This is an excellent opportunity to support an international client and be part of a growing organization—without the commute.


Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage end-to-end payroll for UK and Irish employees accurately and on time
  • Prepare and submit statutory payroll reports to HMRC and Irish Revenue
  • Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and Irish/UK GAAP
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records (new hires, leavers, amendments)
  • Prepare, review, and distribute payslips and payroll documentation
  • Handle payroll-related queries from employees professionally and confidentially
  • Collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and smooth processes
  • Stay updated on payroll legislation changes and implement required updates
  • Support year-end payroll activities, audits, and statutory reporting
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and controls

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, preferably UK and/or Irish payroll
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll regulations and Irish payroll requirements
  • Experience using IPAS payroll software or similar systems
  • Understanding of UK and Irish GAAP as it relates to payroll
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote work environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools
  • CIPP qualification is an advantage but not required
