Position Overview
The Bookkeeper is responsible for supporting Aimpoint's financial operations by maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant financial coordination within the business. Working from our Cebu office, the role focuses on day-to-day bookkeeping using MYOB and ensures all transactions, invoices, payroll, receipts, and financial reports are processed correctly and kept fully up to date. This position plays a key role in supporting Aimpoint's Australian operations and requires a strong commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and professional integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Financial Processing
- Process all financial transactions in MYOB, ensuring entries are accurate and allocated to the correct accounts.
- Assign the uploaded receipts, invoices, and supporting documents to their corresponding MYOB entries.
- Maintain 100% up-to-date accounts at all times.
- Conduct weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Raise purchase orders and process customer invoices for payment.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients on time.
Payroll & Accounts Administration
- Prepare and process fortnightly payroll for Aimpoint staff in accordance with company procedures. Only in MYOB as Directors will transfer actual funds in accordance with approved paysheets.
- Maintain payroll records, timesheets, and relevant documentation.
- Assist with superannuation, deductions, and other payroll obligations (for Australian staff).
Creditors & Debtors Management
- Negotiate payment terms with suppliers and service providers where appropriate.
- Maintain positive relationships with creditors and debtors.
- Follow up and chase outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments.
- Prepare overdue notices and escalate debt issues when required.
Financial Reporting
- Produce monthly financial reports including profit and loss statements, aged receivables, aged payables, and cashflow summaries.
- Assist with quarterly and annual financial preparation as required.
- Provide reports and updates to the Finance Manager and senior leadership team in Australia.
- Work with directors to prepare monthly budgets, actuals and forecast.
Compliance & Confidentiality
- Ensure all financial data is managed securely and confidentially.
- Adhere to company record-keeping, documentation, and audit requirements.
- Protect sensitive financial and payroll information at all times. There is a zero tolerance policy in relation to sharing of confidential information.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (required).
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Experience using MYOB is highly regarded; ability to learn new systems quickly is essential.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, reconciliations, invoicing, and debtor/creditor management.
- Experience working with Australian businesses is an advantage (not required but desirable).

Work Schedule & Conditions
- Based in Aimpoint's Cebu office.
- Three days per week, eight hours per day.
- Occasional additional hours may be required during reporting periods.
- Works closely with Australian-based finance and operations teams.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Php14,400.00 per month
Expected hours: 24 per week
