Key duties include salary benchmarking, managing vendors, overseeing payroll/bonus processes, ensuring pay equity, and communicating policies, often involving collaboration with HR, Finance, and leadership. Core Responsibilities

  • Program Design: Develop and maintain total rewards programs (salaries, bonuses, incentives, health, retirement, wellness).
  • Market Analysis: Participate in salary surveys and benchmark against market rates to ensure competitiveness.
  • Job Evaluation: Conduct job analysis, classification, and build job architectures/pay bands.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local compensation and benefits laws.
  • Administration: Manage payroll, benefits enrollment, vendor relationships, and employee communication.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Prepare reports, analyze staff costs, and monitor program effectiveness.

Key Skills & Qualifications (Often Required)

  • Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of HRIS, payroll systems, and C&B software.
  • Familiarity with labor laws, tax regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication for explaining complex programs to employees and leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, or related field; relevant certifications (CCP, CEBS) valued.
