Human Resource Specialist

The HR Specialist/Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level, working closely with management to support overall HR objectives. Key areas of focus include recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance with local labor laws. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a deep commitment to maintaining employee trust and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of recruitment, including posting jobs on various platforms (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn), screening CVs and applications, and conducting initial phone interviews.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Facilitate the new employee orientation (NEO) process, prepare new hire paperwork, and ensure all necessary documentation (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, TIN) is collected and filed accurately.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing guidance and resolving issues in accordance with company policy.
- Assist in the administration of disciplinary actions, including drafting and issuing Notice to Explain (NTE) documents and supporting administrative hearings.
- Assist in the execution of the company's performance review process, including tracking deadlines and ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Prepare and consolidate payroll-related documents (DTRs, leave forms, exit clearances) for submission to the Payroll department before cut-off deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (201 files), ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are communicated effectively and applied consistently across all departments.
- Prepare periodic HR reports on key metrics such as turnover, recruitment pipeline status, and attendance compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience working as an HR Staff or Generalist, preferably in the Academe Setting.
- Preferred Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) or Registered Psychometrician (RPm)].
