Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to support a payroll software company expanding its operations in the Philippines. The role requires an expert who can provide accurate guidance on Philippine labor laws, ensure compliance, and serve as a key resource for both internal teams and potential clients.

The ideal candidate will represent the company in meetings with prospective clients, discuss payroll processes confidently, and help demonstrate how the software aligns with local regulations. This position combines payroll expertise with strong communication and client-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on Philippine payroll regulations, government mandates, and labor laws.
  • Review, validate, and advise on payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Meet with potential clients to discuss payroll requirements and demonstrate understanding of PH labor compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support client onboarding and address payroll-related inquiries.
  • Assist in evaluating and improving payroll processes within the software platform.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for PH payroll and employment regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role; senior-level experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), withholding tax, and statutory benefits.
  • Excellent English communication skills—both verbal and written; able to speak confidently with clients.
  • Experience presenting payroll solutions or dealing with client-facing discussions is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with payroll software or HR systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and provide expert recommendations.
