What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a logistics or supply chain environment
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing, and distribution processes
  • Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in data analysis and performance reporting
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve targets
  • Experience managing teams of 10-20 logistics and warehouse staff across multiple shifts
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the logistics and warehousing teams, ensuring the seamless flow of materials, products and deliveries
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management and control systems to optimize storage and distribution
  • Liaise with production, sales and customer service teams to align logistics activities with business needs
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  • Manage and motivate the logistics team, providing training, guidance and support to drive high performance
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
