A Logistics Supervisor oversees daily logistics operations like shipping, receiving, and inventory management, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include supervising logistics staff, managing vendor relationships, tracking shipments, maintaining inventory, and implementing process improvements to optimize the supply chain. Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Directing and coordinating all aspects of daily logistics, including shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
  • Staff Supervision: Training, managing, and evaluating logistics team members to ensure smooth workflow and high performance.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring and controlling inventory levels to meet demand, conducting regular stock checks, and minimizing shortages.
  • Vendor and Carrier Relations: Communicating with and negotiating with suppliers, transport companies, and other third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensuring all logistics activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
  • Process Improvement: Analyzing logistics data to identify inefficiencies and implementing strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve customer service.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Preparing and analyzing logistics reports for management, and maintaining accurate records of shipments and inventory.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigating and resolving logistical issues, delays, and discrepancies to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Can start immediately.

Essential Skills

  • Logistics & Supply Chain Knowledge: A strong understanding of supply chain principles, transportation, and inventory management.
  • Leadership & Supervisory Skills: The ability to lead, motivate, and train a team effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and customers.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: The capacity to analyze data, identify problems, and develop practical solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tracking shipments, inventory, and records.
  • Multitasking: The ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php24, Php27,000.00 per month
