Main Purpose of the Job

The Billing Manager leads the billing operations team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant subscription billing. This role optimizes the balance between Odoo automation and manual revenue services requirements, drives billing strategy, and fosters cross-departmental coordination to support company growth and customer retention.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee monthly subscription billing cycles for all client accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine BIR regulations and revenue services requirements.
  • Collaborate with Customer Care, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
  • Develop and implement billing policies and procedures.
  • Lead and mentor billing team members (2 Billing Specialists, 1 Collection Specialist).
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs for billing accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors regarding billing processes.
  • Oversee revenue recognition schedules and adjustments.
  • Implement process improvements to reduce manual work while maintaining compliance.
  • Ensure data integrity across all billing systems.
  • Coordinate with IT on system upgrades and maintenance.
  • Provide billing insights to support business development.
  • Support audit preparation and compliance documentation.

Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years in billing management, preferably with subscription models.
  • 3+ years team leadership experience.
  • Advanced Odoo experience preferred.

Level of Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Understanding of Philippine BIR requirements and revenue recognition.
  • Advanced knowledge of billing systems and outright, subscription, and rental models.

  • Core: Strong leadership and team development skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, outstanding attention to detail and accuracy, effective communication and coordination skills, proactive decision-making capabilities, and a customer service orientation.
  • Functional: Expertise in outright and subscription billing process management, revenue recognition and compliance, cross-departmental coordination, performance metrics and KPI management, and advanced Odoo system expertise.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php50, Php85,000.00 per month
