Main Purpose of the Job

The Finance, Accounting & Purchasing Manager provides strategic leadership for the department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient operations, and regulatory compliance as we grow, for a Filipino entity as well as smaller HK and US entities. This role supports business growth through operational financial management and departmental coordination.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on leadership for all finance, accounting, and purchasing operations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the CEO and stakeholders.
  • Direct supervision of the Billing Manager and oversight of the billing team's performance.
  • Ensure departmental compliance with Philippine accounting standards, BIR regulations, and internal controls.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Customer Care, and Customer Success on revenue and billing matters.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Oversee budget planning, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Lead departmental staff development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Manage cash flow planning and working capital optimization.
  • Hold ultimate responsibility for billing compliance with BIR and other regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate audit processes and maintain relationships with external auditors.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
  • Support business development with financial analysis and contract review.
  • Collaborate with IT on system implementations and process automation.
  • Lead compliance training and awareness initiatives across the department.

Desired Qualifications

  • 7+ years in financial management with 3+ years in supervisory roles.
  • Subscription business experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
  • Level of Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and BIR regulations, HK and USGAAP.
  • Strong understanding of outright, subscription, and rental billing and revenue recognition.
