Main Purpose of the Job

The Billing Specialist executes day-to-day subscription billing operations through Odoo while ensuring compliance with BIR documentation requirements. The role provides first-line support for billing inquiries, processes accurate and timely invoices, and maintains financial integrity through strict adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process monthly recurring billing for an assigned client portfolio.
  • Respond to billing inquiries and disputes within established SLAs.
  • Create manual invoices and documentation in line with BIR compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate customer billing information in Odoo v18.
  • Calculate prorations for mid-cycle subscription changes.
  • Generate invoices through both Odoo v18 and manual processes as required.
  • Validate billing accuracy against contracts and usage data.
  • Process billing adjustments, credits, and payment arrangements.
  • Coordinate with the Customer Care team on billing-related customer concerns.
  • Log detailed customer interactions in Odoo.
  • Escalate complex issues to the Billing Manager as needed.
  • Ensure proper tax calculations and applications.
  • Prepare compliance reports and audit documentation.
  • Support audit processes by maintaining accurate transaction records.
  • Generate billing analytics and ensure backup/security protocols are followed.
  • Perform other related duties that may be assigned by Management.

Desired Qualifications

Work Experience

  • 2–3 years in billing operations, preferably subscription-based.
  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally Odoo.
  • Customer service background is an advantage.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Competencies

  • Core: Hands-on, detail-oriented, accurate, and highly organized. Strong analytical thinking, dispute resolution, and time management skills. Professional in handling sensitive financial information with confidentiality. Effective written and verbal communication in English and Filipino.
  • Functional: Expertise in outright and subscription billing processes, BIR compliance documentation, customer inquiry resolution, and data reporting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
