An ECE Technical Officer is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic and communication systems, often includes tasks like installation, configuration, performance monitoring, and ensuring compliance with relevant technical standards and safety regulations. S/he also acts as a technical expert for all aspects of electronic and communication equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance and Repair:

  • Performing preventative maintenance on electronic and communication systems, including routine inspections, cleaning, and calibration.
  • Diagnosing faults and repairing malfunctioning equipment, including hardware and software issues.
  • Replacing components as needed and ensuring system functionality is restored.

Installation and Configuration:

  • Installing new electronic and communication systems according to specifications.
  • Configuring system settings, network parameters, and user access levels.
  • Testing and verifying system functionality after installation.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Regularly monitoring system performance metrics, such as signal strength, network bandwidth, and uptime.
  • Identifying potential issues and proactively addressing them before they become major problems.
  • Generating reports on system performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Technical Support:

  • Providing technical assistance to users regarding system operation, troubleshooting basic issues, and answering questions.
  • Collaborating with other technical teams to resolve complex problems.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations, maintenance records, and repair details.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations regarding electronic equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) or a related field.

· Has strong understanding of electronic principles, communication systems, networking protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.

· Proven ability to install, configure, and repair electronic and communication equipment.

· Ability to analyze complex technical issues and identify effective solutions.

· Clear communication with both technical and non-technical users to explain complex concepts and provide support

· Fresh graduates may apply-Willing to be assigned in on-site or office-based set-up

· Willing to travel during technical and client visits

OFFICE HOURS

8:00AM - 5:00PM (Mon-Sat)

OFFICE LOCATION

C.M. Recto Street, Davao City

Pay: Php16, Php20,000.00 per month
