Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare detailed telecommunications design documents, including site designs, structural layouts, as-built drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct surveys, data gathering, and site assessments to ensure accuracy of all design outputs.
  • Produce engineering calculations, equipment layouts, and material specifications aligned with project needs.
  • Review, update, and validate drawings (AutoCAD or similar tools) based on client feedback and project revisions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to resolve design issues and ensure clarity of technical requirements.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with local regulations, industry standards, and project quality guidelines.
  • Support project planning by providing technical inputs, risk assessments, and feasibility analysis.
  • Maintain proper documentation and version control for all design-related files.
  • Participate in technical meetings, project discussions, and site inspections when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
  • 4–5 years of proven experience in telecom design engineering, preferably in mobile networks, fiber optics, or tower infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other design tools commonly used in telecommunications projects.
  • Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure standards, including site acquisition requirements, structural guidelines, and equipment installation standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
