About the Role:

We are looking for a
Technical Purchaser
to join our growing Procurement Team. The role will focus on sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing technical and engineering-related materials, spare parts, and services critical to plant operations and project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers of machinery, spare parts, utilities, and maintenance materials.
  • Review technical specifications and ensure alignment with engineering and production requirements.
  • Request and compare quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate closely with Engineering, Production, and Finance for purchase planning and approvals.
  • Maintain updated supplier database and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
  • Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvement in procurement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of
    Engineering
    ,
    Industrial Management
    , or related technical course.
  • At least
    3-5 years of experience
    in purchasing or procurement in a
    manufacturing or industrial environment
    .
  • Knowledge in technical materials, equipment, and spare parts sourcing is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or equivalent).
  • Highly organized, proactive, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
