Position Summary

We are seeking a Data Analyst to design and maintain reports supporting academic and administrative decisions within Ellucian ERP systems (Colleague and Banner). Candidates with strong SQL and data visualization skills (Power BI, Argos, Informer) are encouraged to apply. Training and mentorship on Ellucian tools such as Insights and Experience will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, and maintain accurate, insightful reports to meet institutional academic and business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define requirements, extract and model data, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Support users, develop self-service reporting solutions, and optimize report performance.
  • Ensure compliance with FERPA, GLBA, and other data privacy regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2+ years of experience developing reports, preferably in higher education or ERP environments.
  • Proficiency with modern BI/reporting tools and strong SQL skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver clear reports.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Ellucian ERP systems (Colleague or Banner) or similar higher education platforms, including data warehousing and institutional reporting.
  • Background in consulting or providing technical and analytical support to clients or internal stakeholders.
