
Business Sales Development Assoociate

The Business Development / Sales Associate is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, onboarding clients, and strengthening partnerships in the fintech and electronic money issuer (EMI) industry. The role will focus on merchant acquisition, payment gateway solutions, and financial services partnerships to drive growth and market expansion.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
- Identify, qualify, and pursue potential leads to expand the company's merchant and client base.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and prospective clients.
- Present and pitch fintech/EMI solutions (e.g., payment gateways, QR PH, e-wallets) to potential clients.
- Support the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting, pitching, negotiation, to closing deals.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
Client Onboarding & Account Management
- Assist clients during the onboarding and activation process, ensuring smooth implementation of products and services.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing after-sales support and ensuring satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Activation, Compliance, and Operations teams to address client needs and resolve issues.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, IT, Compliance, Customer Success) to ensure alignment of sales activities.
- Track and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and client feedback.
- Provide input to product development teams based on client needs and market feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in fintech, EMI, banking, or financial services.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with digital payments, financial technology solutions, or electronic money regulations is an advantage.
