Basic Function
The Sales Lead / Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and achievement of sales strategies across key industry segments—specifically Financial Institutions, Government, Education, SMEs, Food, Logistics & Transport, and Travel & Leisure.
This role involves leading a team of sales executives, driving revenue growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and ensuring the delivery of customized fintech and digital payment solutions aligned with client needs. The position plays a critical part in expanding Traxion Tech's market footprint and maintaining its reputation as a trusted fintech solutions provider.
Key Responsibilities1. Leadership and Strategy
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team across all assigned market segments.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and account plans per segment.
- Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
2. Segment-Specific Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities and build client pipelines across all major segments:
- Financial Institutions: Banks, cooperatives, and MFIs for e-wallet, CTM, and digital disbursement platforms.
- Government: LGUs and agencies for fund distribution, e-collection, and compliance-based digital systems.
- Education: Schools and universities for digital payment and collection systems.
- SMEs: Small and medium enterprises for merchant solutions, POS, and QR payment systems.
- Food & Retail: Chain operators, suppliers, and merchants for cashless payment integrations.
- Logistics & Transport: Fleet disbursement, ticketing, and cashless collection systems.
- Travel & Leisure: Hotels, agencies, and booking systems for digital transaction solutions.
- Drive collaboration with Marketing and Product teams for tailored campaigns per segment.
3. Client and Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain high-level relationships with key decision-makers and strategic partners.
- Ensure delivery of excellent client experience through proactive account management and solution customization.
- Manage escalations and critical issues affecting key accounts or partnerships.
- Uphold ethical conduct and prevent any conflict of interest between clients and company operations.
4. Financial and Operational Management
- Develop accurate forecasts and sales performance reports.
- Manage sales budgets, incentives, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
- Monitor contract renewals, billing accuracy, and compliance with client agreements.
- Contribute to pricing strategy, proposal review, and negotiation processes.
5. Market Intelligence and Growth
- Continuously monitor market movements, competitor positioning, and customer trends.
- Recommend innovative approaches to strengthen market share and enhance product-market fit.
- Lead segment penetration initiatives and explore partnership or co-branding opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong background in fintech, digital payments, banking, or B2B technology solutions.
- Proven track record in multi-segment selling and managing nationwide accounts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Highly analytical, goal-oriented, and capable of driving a performance culture.
- Willing to travel to support regional sales operations and client engagements.
