GENERAL MANAGER (FMCG)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment between marketing, sales, operations, and finance.
- Lead business development initiatives and partnerships.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations across manufacturing, logistics, sales, and marketing.
- Ensure efficient supply chain and inventory management.
- Monitor KPIs and operational performance metrics.
Financial Oversight
- Drive cost efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Sales & Marketing
- Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing plans across digital, traditional, and trade channels.
- Strengthen brand positioning and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Monitor consumer trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategy.
- Guide pricing, promotions, and product portfolio decisions to maximize profitability.
- Ensure effective use of marketing budgets and ROI tracking.
- Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth and market penetration.
- Lead the sales team in developing channel strategies (modern trade, general trade, e-commerce, etc.). Build strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and strategic partners.
- Implement sales incentive programs and performance management systems.
- Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and address performance gaps.
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentor and develop senior leaders in marketing, sales, and operations.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, accountability, and results.
- Lead organizational change and capability-building initiatives.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to government regulations (FDA, DTI, DOLE, etc.).
- Maintain high standards of product safety and quality.
- Implement and monitor company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; (MBA preferred)
- 8–10 years of experience in FMCG, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles
- Proven ability to manage operations, sales, and financial performance
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Philippine regulatory requirements and FMCG market dynamics
Preferred Skills:
- Experienced in both distribution and manufacturing environments
- Proficient in using ERP systems for data-driven decision-making
- Skilled in managing B2B and B2C channels
- Familiar with digital marketing, CRM systems, and data analytics tools
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
