This exciting opportunity allows you to work behind the scenes in a fast-paced legal environment, helping process complex immigration cases while developing your skills in legal administration. You'll be an integral part of a professional team, supporting onshore legal assistants with critical backend operations that directly impact clients' immigration journeys. This role offers the perfect blend of administrative expertise and meaningful work in the immigration law space, where attention to detail and critical thinking make a real difference.

Scopes:
  • Backend administrative role with no direct client communication

  • Support ratio of one remote assistant per two onshore legal assistants

  • Report directly to designated team leader

  • Work within tech-focused, streamlined processes while handling manual tasks

  • Focus on immigration law administrative support

  • Integration with existing workflow systems and portals

  • Collaboration with onshore team members through digital platforms

Responsibilities:
  • Draft immigration applications and legal documents
  • Review and sort various legal documents and client materials
  • Handle backend onboarding processes for new clients
  • Set up and manage client portals within the firm's workflow systems
  • Perform accurate data entry and cross-reference documentation (such as passport information)
  • Process client questionnaires received electronically
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness across all client files
  • Verify information from multiple sources and identify discrepancies
  • Support onshore legal assistants with administrative tasks
  • Work with automated systems to populate applications while ensuring accuracy
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in legal or financial services firms
  • Strong administrative and backend support experience
  • Critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with accounting firms, law firms, or financial services preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite
  • Ability to learn specialized software (Migration Manager training provided)
  • Experience with Adobe for document management
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for communication
  • Ability to work independently while reporting to a team leader
