About the role

As an Employee Relations Officer at DD Foods Inc', you will play a critical role in fostering positive and productive relationships between the company and its employees. This full-time role, based in Iloilo City Iloilo, is responsible for providing expert advice and support on all aspects of employee relations, with a focus on industrial and employee relations. You will be an essential part of the HR team, contributing to the overall success and wellbeing of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Advising managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related legislation
  2. Investigating and resolving employee grievances and disciplinary issues in a fair and constructive manner
  3. Negotiating and managing collective bargaining agreements, ensuring compliance with labour regulations
  4. Developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work culture
  5. Providing training and guidance to managers on effective people management practices
  6. Collaborating with the HR team to implement HR strategies and initiatives
  7. Maintaining accurate employee records and documentation
  8. Serving as a trusted advisor to both management and employees

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
  2. 3-5 years' experience in employee relations, industrial relations, or a similar role
  3. Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
  4. Comprehensive understanding of Philippine labour laws and statutory requirements
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
  6. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations
  7. Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  8. Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  9. Proficiency in MS Office and HR information systems
