SILVERLENS DEN ACCOUNTANT
Job Overview:
The Silverlens DEN Accountant (Officer Level) is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records of the Silverlens DEN, a café, gallery store, and event space connected to the Silverlens Gallery. This role ensures proper tracking of daily sales, monitoring of expenses versus income, and supporting the back office with complete and reliable financial data for decision-making. The position upholds financial integrity, compliance, and operational transparency.
Location: Makati City
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 9:30 am – 6:00 pm
Reports to: Head Accountant and Silverlens Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Tracks and verifies daily sales and receipt summaries from café and shop operations.
- Consolidates and records cash, GCash, credit card, and online payments.
- Ensures accuracy of sales reports submitted by the DEN Manager and staff.
- Reconciles variances and flags discrepancies immediately.
- Records all daily expenses, including supplies, purchases, labor, and operational costs.
- Maintains an updated expense and income tracking sheet and provides weekly and monthly financial summaries for submission to Directors.
- Ensures all expenses are supported with receipts and approval per company policy.
- Conducts preliminary review of operational spending vs. budget.
- Assists in generating Profit & Loss data for management review.
- Reconciles petty cash funds and prepares replenishment requests.Supports verification of staff cash remittances.
- Provides financial insights to support operational adjustments and cost control.
Inventory-Related Accounting Support
- Ensures complete and organized documentation of all receipts, invoices, and accounting records.
- Supports compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and financial standards.
- Posts inventory consumption and replenishment expenses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinates with the DEN Manager, Chef, and Shopkeeper to validate inventory usage and costing.
- Monitors consumption patterns and flags any irregular or unusual trends for review.

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with
- at least 3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or officer-level finance.
- knowledge of basic financial compliance and documentation standards.
- proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and knowledge of Quickbooks
- Experience in food and beverages, café, or retail operations preferred. Strong skills in sales tracking, reconciliations, and recording of expenses and income.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in handling financial data.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate with operations teams.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php45, Php50,000.00 per month
