We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee our company's financial health and ensure accurate reporting of all financial transactions. This role will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, cash flow monitoring, payroll, commission computation, bidding evaluations, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Oversee voucher processing and validation of payment requests.
  • Supervise the release of third-party commissions, bonds, and performance bonds.
  • Monitor, report, and collect accounts receivables.

Sales, Pricing & Bidding

  • Review and approve sales profitability summaries (SPS checking).
  • Validate delivery costs, item costs, selling prices, and commissions based on company schemes.
  • Supervise bidding preparations including estimated costs, freight, and dollar rates.
  • Check invoicing, sales invoices, and item specifications.

Cash Flow & Reporting

  • Prepare and update cash budget sheets; monitor daily balances and disbursements.
  • Submit accurate weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports to management.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain updated schedules of accounts.

Payroll & Employee Contracts

  • Compute payroll every 15th and end of the month.
  • Process 13th month pay, separation pay, and conversion of unused benefits.

Commission & Inventory Management

  • Compute commissions based on approved SPS and ensure accuracy of records.
  • Monitor and reconcile commission transactions with purchase orders.
  • Supervise physical and actual inventory counts per book.
  • Consolidate inventory reports for multiple locations (Pasig, Iloilo, CDO, Biñan).
  • Reconcile sales vs. cost reports and verify variances.

Incoming Shipments

  • Oversee costing of shipments from international and local suppliers.
  • Coordinate with forwarders (local cargo, DHL, others) for shipment monitoring and release.

Financial Planning & Audit Support

  • Prepare financial forecasts, cash flow monitoring, and expense control reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of audited financial statements.
  • Supervise internal audit processes including physical inventory counts.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • Proven work experience as a Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting systems and MS Office (Excel in particular).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity.
