
Associate Accounting Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages and overseas the department and subordinates to ensure effective completion of their responsibilities.
Establishes work standards, performance, measures, goals and objectives
Assigns deliverables/tasks to subordinates
Evaluates works performance, tracks and reviews work progress of subordinates
Provides direction and guidance
Coaches, counsels and motivates subordinates
Recommends personnel action/movement
Interviews prospective employees for the department and recommends hiring
Conducts job orientation and technical trainings
Identifies and recommends training program/seminar for staff and development
Issues and implements disciplinary actions as needed in concurrence with the Immediate Superior
· Monitors and analyzes department work to enhance or develop more efficient procedures, systems, workflow and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
· Confirms financial status on the Company by monitoring revenue and expenses, evaluating financial data and preparing consolidated reports for the Management.
· Prepares accurate and timely Financial Statement (Income Statement and Balance Sheet) for Asialink Finance Corporation and Finaswide Credit Corporation including pertinent attachments.
· Approves/signs restructuring documents, Certificate of Full Payment and rebates.
· Ensures accounts are posted accurately and checks are prepared timely.
· Conducts final checking and review of the following:
Financial Statements for all branches of Asialink Finance Corporation and Finaswide Credit Corporation
Semi-monthly payroll reports and other payroll entries
Government transactions/remittances (SSS, HDMF, PhilHealth and BIR)
Clearance and final pay computation of separated employees
Accuracy and completeness of accounting entries
Incentive computations/fees for FFCC/reports
Reports endorsed by Real and Other Properties Acquired (ROPA) Department if items are properly classified, accounted and posted
· Prepares the necessary adjustments on entries as necessary.
· Prepares financial projection and reports for the management analysis requirements (i.e. Collection Report, Aging and Revenues).
· Computes and prepares Support Group Incentives Report.
· Prepares reports for banks in support for credit line application/renewal as necessary or requested.
· Represents the Accounting Department during Management Committee Meeting.
· Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
· With at least one year of work-related experience in all facets of Accounting.
· With good coordination skills and organizational skills
· Can analyze and interpret financial transactions, prepare accurate Accounting Reports timely
· Has the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
· Highly analytical and results-oriented
· Computer-proficient and with keen eyes to details
