The Aquaculture Products Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the financial operations, accounting functions, and budgetary planning of an aquaculture company. The role includes developing financial strategies, overseeing the accuracy of financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing financial insights to drive business growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and preferably, experience in the aquaculture or agriculture sector.

Reports To: Senior Management

Department: Finance and Accounting

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Budgeting:

  • Analyze financial trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for better decision-making.

  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets.

Accounting Operations:

  • Manage all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue.

  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

  • Oversee the preparation and reporting of financial statements.

Cost Management:

  • Analyze production costs associated with aquaculture products and manage cost controls.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare and present financial reports.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

  • Lead external and internal audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate standards.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably with a focus on the aquaculture, agriculture, or manufacturing sector.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily office-based with occasional visits to aquaculture production sites.

  • May involve working extended hours during peak financial periods (e.g., end-of-year reporting).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
