Job Description:

The Finance and Accounting Assistant is responsible for processing vendor payments, managing accounts payable (AP), handling client disbursements, and ensuring timely government-related payments. This role ensures that all disbursements comply with internal financial policies, regulatory requirements, and client agreements while maintaining accurate transaction records. Additionally, the Finance and Accounting Assistant plays a key role in monitoring cash positions by working closely with the Accounts Receivable (AR) Assistant and Accounting Officer to align disbursements with collections and fund availability. The role also assists in the bank reconciliation process by providing necessary transaction details to the Finance team for review and discrepancy resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's in Accountancy
  • CPA is a plus
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and AP processes Familiarity with taxation (VAT, EWT, compliance requirements).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills (vendor coordination, internal team updates)
  • Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and teamwork.
  • Internship or part-time experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or financial operations is an advantage
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
