We are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join the team at BIRC International Resources Corp' in our Pasig City, Metro Manila office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations and reporting, playing a crucial part in supporting the strategic growth of the organization.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts to provide insights that drive informed decision-making
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of financial control systems and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and advice on projects and initiatives
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Ensure the company's financial activities adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role, preferably within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis
  • Proficient in using financial management software and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven track record of implementing financial controls and driving process improvements
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
