AREA SALES MANAGER
Job Purpose : Overseeing and driving the sales performance of a group of sales persons in a particular area or region
Job Scope: This position is responsible for creating sales plans to meet strategic organization goals, building membership, and providing strategic solutions for sales efforts including campaigns, trade shows, and client acquisition. ASM needs to understand what the product market wants from the companies' goods and services. Customers should feel that they can depend on the business to meet their consumer needs and respond to queries and concerns in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Align various sales activities in collaboration with NSM to complement organizational goals and create an achievable and sustainable
Continually training new and existing sales representatives, assigning specific tasks to other sales representatives, and monitoring the sales team
Motivating the sales team to achieve the best results possible and creating an atmosphere of healthy competition among the sales team
Regular visits to existing customers and targeted to recruit stakeholders
Reports competitor activities to the NSM
Solving customer complaints and answering customers questions
Ensures all sales representative routes assigned have up to date route
Qualifications:
1. Education/Certification:
Graduate or undergraduate of any 4 year course, Management or Marketing or any allied science course
2. Job Knowledge/Skills Required:
Sales managerial experience of at least 3 years in Animal Health company or FMCG with proven track record. Have handled a team in his/her previous employment.
Strong Leadership and Management Skills Excellent Interpersonal Skills
Knowledgeable on sales processes and techniques Team Player
