We're looking for an Area Manager for a fast-food franchisee in the Philippines.

The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple Japanese store brands. This role ensures that all stores achieve operational excellence, meet sales and profitability targets, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The Area Manager provides leadership and direction to Store Managers and their teams, ensuring compliance with company policies, financial goals, and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple stores, ensuring consistent performance, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and their teams to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Monitor and analyze store performance, P&L accounts, and budgets to control costs and maximize profitability.
  • Drive high standards in customer service, store presentation, and operational compliance.
  • Implement strategies to achieve business growth and operational excellence across all stores.
  • Ensure compliance with HR, Health and Safety, and statutory policies at all times.
  • Conduct regular store visits to evaluate operations, provide feedback, and support store teams.
  • Identify training and development needs to strengthen the performance of store staff.
  • Resolve operational challenges with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Report performance updates, challenges, and action plans to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • At least 2–3 years of proven management experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment (retail or food industry).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Solid understanding of P&L accounts and budgetary management.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Positive "can-do" attitude with the ability to adapt to challenges and ambiguity.
  • Good knowledge of HR and Health & Safety policies; experience with CQC policies is an advantage.
  • Strong drive and determination to achieve business goals.
  • Genuine desire to contribute to the growth and success of the business.
  • Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City.

Work Schedule:

  • Onsite reporting
  • Monday to Friday; 08:00 to 6:00
