Job Title: Finance Generalist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Generalist with 4 years of experience in financial operations, including 2 years specializing in taxation. This role requires a well-rounded professional who can manage day-to-day financial processes, support compliance requirements, and contribute to the company's fiscal health. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of general accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle end-to-end accounting processes including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
  • Prepare, review, and file tax returns (e.g., VAT, income tax, withholding tax), ensuring compliance with local regulations
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and analysis
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS)
  • Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and reports
  • Liaise with tax consultants and regulatory bodies as needed
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and recommend adjustments to ensure ongoing compliance

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in finance or accounting, including 2 years focused on taxation
  • Solid knowledge of local tax laws and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or similar)
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • CPA or similar certification is an advantage but not required
  • Willing to work on a day - midshift
