Job Description

As a Systems Administrator/Analyst, you will support users across the organization, triage helpdesk tickets, manage IT hardware/software, and contribute to IT projects, while owning second-level support in your area of technical specialization.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Ideally at least 1 year in a similar role; 3 to 5 years overall experience
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-facing mindset
• Strong working knowledge of computer systems, servers, hardware, and software
• Proficient in Microsoft cloud technologies, server and desktop platforms, Office Suite, and ePOS systems
• Solid understanding of desktop and server virtualization
• Good knowledge of data and telecom technologies, including their application and management in a business environment
• Familiarity with current IT security practices
• Ability to perform security assessments such as vulnerability scans and apply necessary remediation
• Experience with patch management, including applying Windows updates and addressing zero-day vulnerabilities

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
• MCSE or equivalent certification in Microsoft products (Windows, Server, Exchange, etc.)
• VCP4 or higher, or trained to that level
• CCNA training (certification not required)
• ITIL Foundation
• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network+
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, endpoint protection, or similar security software

Your Daily Tasks

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the company's IT systems and data.
• Support all team members within the company, the IT Manager and other members of the IT Team.
• Provide 1st line support on the IT Service Desk; answer the phone, resolve tickets, end-to-end case ownership, delegation to and follow up with system specialists and 3rd party support partners.
• Provide IT Service Desk "front line" triage, via a weekly rota.
• Provide 2nd level support in the respective specialist areas.
• Support, manage and deliver technology projects in the respective areas.
• Carry out regular systems maintenance and checks, via a rota and checklist.
• Carry out the setup, administration, and maintenance of hospitality systems, items/products/menus, including Zonal ePOS management and ERP item master, working with data transformation and automation tools where possible to maximise the efficiency of the process.
• Handle Team Member onboarding, including new user setup/decommissioning, MFA training & activation. Maintain user creation/amendments/deletions, via automation where possible.
• Carry out department administrative tasks, such as invoice processing, technical systems housekeeping, user & asset/inventory/license management and maintaining an orderly, systematic, and organised office/storage environment.
• Ensure that the IT change/version control processes are adhered to at all times.
• Identify any errors and perform preventative and corrective actions; problem solve and implement solutions to IT system failures and other IT incidents.
• Help identify the requirement for, and co-ordinate the installation of, new hardware/software in line with the agreed policies, renewal cycles, and budget.
• Help identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for improvements in business processes and systems.
• Liaise with IT suppliers in respect of possible future and existing systems and solutions.
