Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary:

A Business Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions. This role's primary focus is on understanding overall business processes, strategies, and goals. This role works collaboratively with stakeholders across various departments to gather and define requirements, design system solutions, and ensure the integration of technology aligns with broader organizational objectives. The role requires a blend of techno-functional expertise and business acumen, facilitating effective communication between IT and business stakeholders. This role's responsibilities encompass a broad scope, involving system integration and optimization to enhance overall business operations

Functional Duties & Responsibilities:

Business Requirements Gathering and Review

• Support BPM by conducting thorough reviews of business requirements, offering essential assistance as needed.

• Engage in detailed assessments of existing and proposed processes, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business needs and objectives.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to gather insights into current challenges and future goals

Product Backlog Creation:

• Developing and maintaining a detailed product backlog, prioritizing features and functionalities based on business priorities.

• Build a dynamic and prioritized product backlog that aligns with the strategic goals and regularly reassess and refine the backlog, ensuring it remains adaptable to evolving business requirements and emerging priorities.

Business Rules Discussion:

• Facilitating structured discussions on business rules, ensuring clarity and consensus among stakeholders.

• Ensure a shared understanding and consensus among stakeholders, aligning business rules with the strategic objectives of the project.

Unit Testing:

• Conducting unit testing on system solutions, ensuring that enhancements meet specified business requirements.

• Rigorously conduct unit testing on proposed system solutions, validating that enhancements align with predefined business requirements.

• Collaborate proactively with development teams to address and swiftly resolve any identified issues, ensuring optimal functionality

Provide Assistance on User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

• Assisting in planning and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collaborating closely with end-users to validate and verify that solutions meet their functional needs.

• Provide invaluable support during UAT phases, ensuring seamless coordination between business stakeholders and the development team

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Management, Business, or a related field

Job Experience

• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience is required, with a preference for roles in areas such as Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, and Functional Analyst.

• Demonstrated proficiency in gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting processes, and working with cross-functional teams.

• Proven expertise in leading complex projects, strategic planning, and providing guidance to junior analysts.

• Experience in managing stakeholder relationships and contributing to organizational decision-making.

• Experience in the Real Estate-related industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
