As an
IT System Analyst,
you will be responsible for fulfilling the Bank's software requirements through the development and maintenance of applications and databases. You will assist in articulating and documenting stakeholder requirements for system projects and enhancements, ensuring they are clearly defined and prioritized. The role includes acting as the Person-in-Charge for assigned IT projects, ensring timely and cost-effective delivery. You will also support the IT Planning and Development Unit Head in managing application development initiatives while minimizing disruption to business operations. Additionally, you will contribute to the department's success by providing effective support to the Head of Information Technology in achieving strategic goals.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Provides technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects
  • Develops and maintains applications and databases by evaluating client needs; analyzes requirements; develops software systems
  • Investigates and resolves application functionality related issues and provides first level support and troubleshooting of Head Office, Regional and locally hosted system
  • Assists in creation of system design and functional/technical specifications for all new development projects
  • Identifies business needs, analyzes data, and develops solutions to improve business processes, systems, or products
  • Serves as a liaison and facilitator between all business units to assist in addressing and resolving IT software issues
  • Serves as Person-in-Charge (PIC) for IT projects to ensure timely delivery bounded by cost and resource constraints
  • Writes technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guide, etc.
  • Manages database and data integrity
  • Provides assistance and advises business users in the effective use of applications and information technology
  • Provides programming/coding for in-house IT projects
  • Identifies and recommends process improvement ideas / local initiatives to improve the business / operations
  • Takes part in process improvement projects as required
  • Participates in weekly meetings to discuss project status, issues and report progress of IT projects being handled by the IT Planning and Development team
  • Liaises with Head Office or Regional support for issues related to technology requirements, support, problem resolution, upgrade and maintenance of system
  • Provide inputs in improving IT processes for efficiency
  • Provide support on IT Outsourcing and/or Vendor Management process to fulfill GAD requirements
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned by Management, Department Head and Unit Head

What Sets You Apart

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of various system architectures including hardware and software
  • At least 3 years solid experience in system development and support environment
  • Experience in SQL Scripting, Macro, and VBA Programming
  • Knowledge in banking systems (Core and Local Settlement Systems, Financia Reporting, and AML Regulatory Reporting Systems)
