Position:  Systems Analyst (Entry- Level)

Department: Project Management

Reports to: Project Management Section Head

Job Overview:

The Systems Analyst plays a critical role in evaluating, designing, and enhancing information systems to meet business and operational needs. The role involves analyzing complex data processing challenges across science, engineering, and business applications, recommending appropriate solutions, and ensuring the effective use of commercially available software and programming tools. In addition, the Systems Analyst may provide oversight and guidance to developers to maintain quality, accuracy, and alignment with project objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate existing systems and those under development to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational needs.

  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions and communicate with users to identify system objectives and functionality

  • Develop specifications for new or modified systems.

  • Produce technical documentation, including system flowcharts, case diagrams, and related materials.

  • Collaborate with other team members (eg. developers, project managers, and other stakeholders) to design and implement effective systems.

  • Provide supervision and support to developers to ensure deliverables meet required standards.

  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any related field.

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.

  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.

  • Effective interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

  • Flexible, adaptable, and proactive in the performance of their assigned tasks.

  • Must be a Filipino citizen residing in the Philippines.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel at least 25% of the time and to work at home (hybrid position).
