We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Assistant to support our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in business principles, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.   • Support Business Development Initiatives: Assist the business development team in all phases of the sales cycle, including lead generation, prospect research, and client relationship management.
  • Administrative and Organizational Support: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, prepare presentations, and organize documents to ensure the smooth operation of the business development department.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and potential new business opportunities to help inform strategy.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update customer information in our CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Familiarity with CRM tools is a significant advantage.
  • Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients and internal teams, effectively communicating project updates, gathering information, and addressing inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies that drive business growth.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and key performance indicators using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Project Assistance: Provide support on special projects as needed, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in sales, business development, or a support role is a plus.
  • Experience or interest in the renewable energy industry is a strong advantage.
