OB SUMMARY
The Corporate Business Development Officer supports the Corporate Business Development Director in advancing the company's growth and investment initiatives. The role involves the conducting market research, financial modeling and feasibility analysis to evaluate business opportunities. Working closely with cross functional teams, the officer helps prepare business cases, partnership proposals and investment presentations to guide executive decision-making and project implementation.
DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES
- Play a key supporting role to the Business Development Director in driving the company's expansion and investment agenda.
- Conducts Market Intelligence, financial analysis, and partnership coordination to ensure all business opportunities are evaluated with strategic and financial rigor. Working collaboratively with the Legal, Finance Technical, and Operations teams, the officer contributes to the development and monitoring of new ventures and ensures timely preparations of reports, presentations and documentation for management and board reviews.
- Strategic Business Plan, feasibility studies and investment proposals that align with corporate objectives.
- Conducting Market and Industry research, performing in-depth analysis of competitors and economic trends to identify opportunities and assess feasibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics or Finance.
- Post Graduate units or Master's Degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Corporate Planning, feasibility analysis and studies, investment research or consulting.
- Familiarity with corporate finance, market analysis, project feasibility and strategic planning frameworks.
- Strong background in Strategic planning frameworks such as SWOT, PESTLE and Porter's Five Forces
- Willing to travel for field validation, site visits, or partnership meeting
