About the role

Philblanc Company is seeking a skilled Panel Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. As a full-time Panel Saw Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art panel saws to ensure efficient and precise cutting of materials. This is a vital role that contributes directly to the quality and output of our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Operating panel saws to cut materials, such as wood, plastic, or metal, to specific sizes and dimensions
  2. Reviewing work orders and blueprints to determine the appropriate cutting patterns and sequences
  3. Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on panel saws to ensure optimal performance
  4. Monitoring the cutting process to identify and address any issues or inefficiencies
  5. Maintaining a clean and organised work area to promote safety and productivity
  6. Collaborating with the wider manufacturing team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a Panel Saw Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
  2. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate and maintain panel saws
  3. Attention to detail and the ability to interpret work orders and blueprints accurately
  4. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address issues quickly
  5. A commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
  6. Strong teamwork and communication skills
