The Chairmakers Production Supervisor oversees the overall production processes and ensures the final product meets quality standards and customer specifications. The Supervisor guarantees production quotas are met and items are delivered on-time. As a Supervisor, it is his/her duty to motivate employees to foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members.

The Chairmakers Production Supervisor coordinates with chairmakers branches to monitor their production activities. Also, he/she reports to Top management for any updates and concerns regarding the production operation.

Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for each employee and each processes in the department such as Dressing Section, Sewing Section, Laminating Section, Cutting Section, Preparing Section, Framing Section based on demand planning and orders from the concession, wholesale, and showrooms.

Makes sure that the orders of respective sales departments are delivered on time.

Organizes the workflow process to maximize the efficiency of the production space.

Monitors and regulates overtime in your department. Overtime must be minimize and must be approved by the Operations Supervisor before it is allowed.

Monitors and maximizes personnel efficiency and process speed based on time study from Cebu. This will be audited and will be used to determine department size and the performance of the Assistant Supervisor.

Checks production output according to product specifications along with the QC assigned to each department and resolve any quality issues that may arise.

Checks and maintains the Sewing Machine, Vertical Cutting Machine, Blown Fiber Machine, Fiber Opener, Mixing Container Machine, and Circular Saw in your department with Operations Supervisor daily to prevent machine down time. In case of machine downtime, this must be reported immediately to the Operations Supervisor of your branch and to the General Services Supervisor in Cebu so that it can be resolved immediately. Along with the warehouse, monitor and report shortages of raw materials to the Department Head in Cebu.

Supervises warehouse Assistant Supervisors, group head and warehouse helper to ensure smooth warehouse operation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
