Job Title: Machine Operator – Carpentry Machines

Department: Production / Carpentry

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to operate and maintain carpentry machinery used in the manufacturing or assembly of wood products. The ideal candidate will have experience working with woodworking machines such as saws, planers, CNC routers and sanding machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor a variety of carpentry machines including:
  • Table saws, band saws, panel saws
  • Planers, jointers, and sanders
  • Edgebanders and boring machines
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or cutting lists.
  • Measure and inspect finished products to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
  • Monitor raw material usage and report any shortages or defects.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Report mechanical issues to maintenance personnel or supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely production targets are met.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a machine operator in a carpentry or woodworking environment.
  • Familiarity with woodworking machines and tools.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.
  • Good physical condition and ability to stand for long periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational training in carpentry or woodworking is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php20,000.00 per month
