The Land Acquisition Senior Specialist is responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing land assets required for energy development projects. The role ensures that all land-related transactions and documentation comply with regulatory, legal, and company standards while supporting the strategic and operational needs of ongoing and future projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct due diligence and feasibility assessments for potential project sites, including land ownership validation, right-of-way, and encumbrance checks.
  • Manage end-to-end land acquisition processes — from negotiation and documentation to securing necessary permits and clearances.
  • Coordinate with landowners, local government units (LGUs), and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth and timely project implementation.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of land titles, contracts, and agreements in compliance with internal governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Legal, Project Development, and External Relations to ensure alignment on land acquisition strategies and issue resolution.
  • Support conflict resolution and community engagement efforts related to land concerns.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to management, highlighting risks, bottlenecks, and recommended mitigation actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geodetic Engineering, Real Estate Management, or related field.
  • Licensed Geodetic Engineer or Real Estate Broker is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in land acquisition, real estate, or right-of-way management, preferably within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with land laws, titling procedures, and permitting processes in the Philippines.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
