Job Summary:
The HR Manager under Shared Services is responsible for overseeing and managing centralized human resources operations that provide consistent, efficient, and compliant HR services across all business units. The role ensures that HR processes, policies, and systems are standardized and optimized, while supporting the organization's strategic objectives and promoting employee engagement, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end HR services such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, employee records, and offboarding.
- Ensure efficient delivery of shared HR services across multiple departments or business units.
- Develop and implement standardized HR policies, procedures, and systems.
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes to ensure quality hires.
- Coordinate training, learning, and development programs to enhance employee skills.
- Implement talent management and succession planning strategies.
- Act as a central point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Promote employee engagement and wellness programs across the organization.
- Handle employee relations cases in compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and employee records.
- Lead internal HR audits and support external audits when necessary.
- Monitor HR metrics and generate reports for management review.
- Continuously improve HR processes for efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Leverage HR technology and systems to streamline operations.
- Supervise and mentor HR staff under Shared Services.
- Collaborate with department heads and business units to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
- Drive a culture of professionalism, accountability, and service excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
- At least 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in managing HR Shared Services or centralized HR functions preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
