Job Description
The Business Development Officer is responsible for expanding the company's market presence by identifying, developing, and managing partnerships with mobile phone shops, tech retailers, and accessory stores. The role focuses on endorsing the company's products to potential partners, securing product listings, and driving sustainable business growth through strong retail relationships.
This position plays a key role in increasing distribution coverage, sales volume, and brand visibility in the retail market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and manage channel partners.
- Build and maintain strong distributor and reseller relationships.
- Develop and implement effective channel strategies.
- Provide product training and sales support.
- Monitor performance and ensure compliance.
- Work with the marketing team to create promotions, campaigns, and partner incentives.
- Visit markets regularly to monitor partner activities, competition, and opportunities.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management.
- Address partner concerns quickly to maintain strong business relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong negotiation, great communication skills and experience in sales.
- Ability to analyze sales data and prepare actionable insights.
- Willingness to travel and work in the field as required.
