JOB SPECIFICATION
- At least high school graduate, vocation , culinary
- At least 1-2 years experience as a Chef de Partie
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures the daily accomplishment of opening and closing checklists.
- Ensures the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen.
- Prepare and serve food according to the set standards set by the company.
- Receives deliveries from suppliers or the commissary. Quality checks items from the commissary to ensure every dish meets company standards daily.
- Checks stocks inside the chiller for expiry dates and to maintain high quality food daily.
- Follows the standard process of checking labels.
- Generates par stocks every month for ( meat, sauces, vegetables ) in order to minimize cost approved by the kitchen department.
- Assigns tasks to the staff to develop morale of individuals by giving them responsibilities that enhance their personalities of what is wrong and what is right.
- Ensures that all updates are being disseminated and all changes in the existing processes are fully understood and implemented.
- Resolves concerns of the staff to have a smooth operation. Escalates to the Sous Chef any concerns that need higher resolution.
