Blackfish is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Bartender to be a key part of our craft cocktail bar team. This is a role for an experienced professional with a deep knowledge of mixology, a commitment to precision, and a talent for creating exceptional guest experiences.

About Blackfish

Blackfish is an elevated casual dining restaurant and craft cocktail bar located in Angeles City, Pampanga. With a seating capacity of 100, we combine progressive food and beverage with a thoughtful, service-forward approach. Since our establishment in 2018, we have expanded into our third and most ambitious location to date.

Our team is built on a strong culture of collaboration, discipline, and continuous improvement. We aim to set new standards in food and beverage service in the region, with a particular focus on leadership development, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The Bartender will be responsible for the execution and delivery of our craft cocktail program. Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including classic and contemporary craft cocktails, with consistency, speed, and precision.
  • Provide an exceptional and engaging guest experience at the bar, demonstrating deep product knowledge and building rapport.
  • Ensure strict adherence to recipes, presentation standards, and portion controls for every drink.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar station, including mise en place and garnishes.
  • Support inventory management through proper stock rotation and by alerting management to low stock levels.
  • Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
  • Collaborate with the bar and service team to ensure seamless operation and a unified guest experience.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Bartender in a high-volume, craft cocktail-focused or premium service environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and mixology techniques.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent guest engagement and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to following established standards and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in POS systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Angeles, Pampanga before starting work.
