The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner. This role ensures that all guests have an enjoyable and safe experience while maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the bar area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately.
  • Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times.
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age.
  • Handle cash, credit, or POS transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Engage with customers to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
  • Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service.
  • Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations.
  • Assist in opening and closing duties, including inventory counts and cleaning.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
  • Certification in bartending or responsible alcohol service (if required).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with bar equipment and POS systems.
  • Creativity in developing new cocktail recipes.
  • Basic understanding of wine, spirits, and beer varieties.
