About the role

As the Accounting Supervisor at LRI Chroma Asia Inc', you will play a vital role in overseeing the company's accounting operations within the Manufacturing industry. This full-time position is based in General Trias City, Cavite, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising the accounting team and ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
  • Preparing monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Reconciling bank accounts and other general ledger accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Providing financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making
  • Liaising with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed
  • Mentoring and developing the accounting team to foster a culture of continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the accounting function, preferably in the Manufacturing industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, preferably with a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, including IFRS or local accounting standards
  • Proficient in using accounting software and financial reporting tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with stakeholders at all levels
