JOB SUMMARY:

The Business Development Officer is responsible for driving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and implementing strategic sales initiatives. This role is centered on expanding market reach, generating leads, and collaborating across teams to meet revenue targets.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct research across conventional and unconventional sources, both local and international, to identify potential sales leads, acquisitions, and business opportunities, while expanding the unit's network of contacts.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager in drafting clear and accurate client and supplier contracts and documentation to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Create compelling sales materials, such as e-flyers containing product information and screener links, to support client outreach and engagement.
  • Manage the preparation, completion, and submission of all required client documentation and post-sales deliverables following deal closure.
  • Monitor updates on film markets and festivals, staying informed about new opportunities and industry developments.
  • Organize and prepare meeting agendas for film markets, ensuring a structured and professional approach.
  • Maintain and regularly update a well-organized, accessible database of local and international contacts.
  • Foster and sustain productive relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Carry out other tasks as may be assigned by the Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Broadcast or Mass Communication, Film, Marketing, Advertising, Arts, or any related field.

Experience:

  • Preferably 3–5 years of work experience in a media or entertainment company.

Skills:

  • Excellent research abilities, with a talent for sourcing contacts from non-traditional platforms.
  • Highly resourceful, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Creative flair for designing and reviewing sales materials; proficiency in Photoshop and Canva is preferred.
  • Strong interest or passion for the film industry, with an eye for quality content and an understanding of media trends and terminology.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Capable of handling confidential business information with discretion.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
