(Lead Kitchen & Menu Development Role – Pescetarian / Seafood Focus)
Job Summary:
The Chef is responsible for leading kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring all dishes meet The Kind's standards of quality, presentation, and sustainability. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge and experience in pescetarian and seafood cuisine, with the ability to create flavorful, balanced dishes that align with The Kind's philosophy of mindful and wholesome dining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency in food quality and service speed.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, focusing on pescetarian and seafood-based menus, while incorporating fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
- Develop and innovate new menu items, seasonal specials, and plating presentations aligned with The Kind's brand and guest preferences.
- Maintain strict food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety, and presentation standards.
- Monitor kitchen inventory, manage ordering, and minimize food waste and cost inefficiencies.
- Coordinate with management, front-of-house, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and product consistency.
- Uphold The Kind's values of sustainability, health, and mindful dining in every aspect of kitchen work.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, OJT (On the job training), Fresh graduate
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: Php Php25.00 per month
Expected hours: 27 – 54 per week
