- Responsible of producing a wide range of Japanese Dessert products such as Matcha Sweets, Japanese Red bean pancake, Japanese Crepe etc.
- Responsible for supplying the Restaurant with fresh and varied pastry products daily.
- Prepares and cooks all food, prepares desserts, pastries, breads, and salad to the highest standard of food hygiene and quality.
- Decorating pastries and other desserts using a variety of different sauces, toppings and other items.
- Continuously improving and staying updated.
- Weighing and measuring ingredients.
- Operating a variety of kitchen equipment.
- Monitoring the stock of all ingredients.
- Ensuring the Pastry section to adhere to safety and health regulations.
- Able to execute various level of baking skills and have the ability to introduce new techniques for baking decorations.
- Willing to work at Malate Manila
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills are required, as well as the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Extensive knowledge of health and safety procedures for kitchens and food preparation areas
- With knowledge in preparing Otoshi is an advantage.
- Must have at least 1-2 years experience in a Hotel or Restaurant or background in baking and pastry making.
- Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field.
- Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.
- In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.
