- Food and beverage preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, and ensure all drinks are prepared accurately and appealingly.
- Quality control: Inspect and ensure the freshness of ingredients, and oversee the quality and presentation of all dishes and drinks leaving the bar.
- Operations and management: Plan budgets, manage staff schedules, and run the bar's operations, potentially filling in for a head chef or manager when needed.
- Compliance and safety: Enforce sanitation regulations, safety standards, and food safety procedures.
