JOB ROLE: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (On-site)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure accuracy in reporting, and provide insights that support business decisions. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to streamline financial processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and present monthly financial reports with key insights for management.
• Analyze financial data and provide variance reports to highlight trends and areas for improvement.
• Assist in creating budgets and financial forecasts to support decision-making.

Accounts Payable & Expense Management

• Review purchase requests and change orders to ensure they align with budget limits.
• Oversee the review and posting of transactions before processing payments.

Accounts Receivable & Revenue Management

• Monitor billing and collections, ensuring payments are received on time.
• Implement credit and collection policies to manage outstanding balances.

Cost Control & Budget Monitoring

• Track and analyze project budgets and contracts to manage costs effectively.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements.

Compliance & Reconciliation

• Ensure all financial transactions are accurate and complete.
• Ensure that bank reconciliations are being performed and discrepancies are being resolved in a timely and accurate manner.

Leadership & Support

• Provide guidance on financial best practices to improve company processes.
• Help develop and refine policies and procedures to ensure financial accuracy.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification, preferred.
• 3 years of experience and/or exposure in the construction industry is preferred.
• 5 years and above of progressive experience in financial management, reporting, cost analysis and process improvement.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial compliance.
• Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel functions, with experience in ERP or cloud-based accounting software such as
  Quickbooks and Odoo.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
• Proven ability to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve cost efficiency.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities, with experience in guiding teams and collaborating across departments.
• High level of accountability, decision-making skills, and attention to detail in financial operations.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to support executive decision-making and drive financial performance.
