Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly net asset value (NAV) calculations for a variety of investment funds
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including cash, securities, and derivatives
  • Reconcile fund positions and manage discrepancies between the fund's records and custodians
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor corporate actions and ensure accurate reflection in fund records
  • Support the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory reports as required
  • Liaise with auditors, custodians, and fund administrators to resolve any accounting-related issues
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in the implementation of best practices
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to internal stakeholders and clients

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and more than five years of experience in fund accounting, financial services, or any related field Big 4 experience and/or CPA preferred
  • Experience developing financial reports and metrics
  • Experience with NetSuite required
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP, financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization

  • Computer Processor: At least i5, 8th generation for both primary and back up computers
  • Computer Memory/RAM: At least 16.00 GB for both primary and back up computers
  • Computer OS: Windows 11
  • 2 monitors required
  • Internet speed must be running on a 20+ Mbps wired plan (at least 5 Mbps for back up connection)
